Behind-the-ear hearing aid 1. Make sure the hearing aid is turned on, select the appropriate eardrum head, and connect the eardrum head to the acoustic tube. 2. Place the hearing aid on the back of the ear; 3. Place your thumb and forefinger over the acoustic tube of the hearing aid and place the front of the hearing aid into the ear so that the hearing aid fits snugly into the ear canal. 4. Adjust the hearing aid until it feels comfortable.

Use the cleaning brush included in the hearing aid package to remove earwax or other tiny particles from around the ear canal opening of the hearing aid, the volume control knob and the battery compartment, and then gently wipe the hearing aid with a soft cloth. Solvents, cleaning fluids or oils should not be used to clean your hearing aid. When the hearing aid is not in use, turn the switch off and open the battery valve, and place the hearing aid in a dry place to minimize wear and tear on the hearing aid.
